Come and visit us
The best way to get a feel for our school is to come and see us in action. During a visit, you can meet members of our team, see our learning environment and find out more about school life. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit. We will be very pleased to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.
Starting school
Applications for children starting school for the first time are made through the relevant local authority admissions process. Families should follow the published application timetable and submit their application by the stated closing date.If you are offered a place at our school, we will provide information about transition arrangements and opportunities for you and your child to get to know the school before their first day.
In-year admissions
If you are looking for a school place because you are moving into the area or would like your child to change schools during the academic year, please contact the school office in the first instance. We can explain the current admissions process and help you find the information you need.
Children with additional needs
We welcome children with a wide range of needs and backgrounds and are committed to providing an inclusive education. If your child has special educational needs or disabilities, or there is anything you feel would help us support their transition, please speak to us. Early conversations help us plan carefully and make the move to a new school as positive as possible.

Appeals
Parents and carers who are not offered a place may have the right to appeal the decision. Details of the appeals process, including how to submit an appeal and the relevant deadlines, are available through the appropriate admissions authority.
Moving on to high school
For families of children approaching the end of their time at middle school, applications for high school are made through the local authority admissions process. Our main feeder high school is Thomas Alleyne's High School, which is part of our Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), Innovate 2 Educate Partnership. We work closely with colleagues at Thomas Alleyne's to support a smooth and positive transition for our pupils. We also support pupils moving on to other high schools, working with receiving schools to help every child prepare confidently for the next stage of their education.
